Counselling is a way to help you to make changes and choices with a clearer perspective. It does not involve giving advice or directing a client to take a particular course of action. Counsellors do not judge or exploit their client in any way.
Counselling is not something I do to you. Working together, I will ask you questions and by listening to you, I will use my training, experience and my own intuition and understanding to help you to resolve or come to terms with your difficulties. If I ask you something that you don’t want to answer, you don’t have to answer it.
Counselling is not only for “major” challenges or problems in life; it is for the issues that get in the way of you living life with satisfaction.
